Visit Parliament with Māori simultaneous interpreter, Wiremu Haunui
Go behind the scenes of the New Zealand Parliament on a tour specifically designed for interpreters and translators, hosted by Wiremu Haunui, Parliamentary Te Kaiwhakahaere o Ngā Rātonga Reo Māori. Highlights of the visit will include the Maui-tikitiki-a-Taranga; the former Māori Affairs Committee Room, Matangireia; and the interpreting studio.
Registered participants should arrive at 9.15 am to check in their belongings. Phones, cameras, electronic devices, handbags, packs and coats must be stored in the cloakroom.
