Mind the (skills) gap

Lifelong learning for translators and interpreters

Presenter: Jayne Fox

You’re a professional translator or interpreter with strong language and translation skills. So why take the time to engage in further learning?
The answer depends on where you would ideally like to be.
Come along to this presentation to explore the skills gap between where we are now and where we want to be in future. We will look at identifying business goals and using lifelong learning as a means to achieve them. As well as finding out how to develop a personalised learning plan, attendees will take home a list of practical learning tools and activities that they can start using straight away.
This session is for translators and interpreters interested in developing their skills, businesses and careers.
